Ficus pumila
Ficus pumila is a unique variety of climbing fig belonging to the mulberry family (Moraceae). Native to tropical regions of East Asia, it grows on tree trunks and rocky surfaces, forming dense, green carpets with distinctive foliage.
Appearance
The plant is distinguished by its small, heart-shaped leaves, intensely green and delicately lustrous. Its creeping or climbing habit makes it perfect for terrariums, paludariums, and as a groundcover in pots. Thanks to its rapid growth and compact shoots, Ficus pumila creates a striking, green structure.
